As Miss Tourism World Croatia, how do you feel your role contributes to promoting Croatia’s rich culture and natural beauty to the world?
As Miss Tourism World Croatia, my role significantly contributes to promoting our country because Croatia boasts a rich and well-developed tourism industry. We have a fascinating and extensive history, and people from around the world are drawn to our pristine coastline and renowned tourist destinations. Croatia’s natural beauty, including numerous national parks that attract countless visitors each year, allows us to compete with the world’s top tourist destinations. I am eager to further showcase our country’s tourism potential globally, as we have much to offer.
What inspired you to pursue a career in modeling and participate in beauty pageants, and how has this journey shaped your personal and professional growth?
I was encouraged to pursue a modeling career from an early age. Currently, I’m studying fashion and costume design and planning to launch my own brand, which I am developing through a business plan. My journey began with beauty contests in Croatia and eventually led to international pageants in Turkey and China, where I received several business offers. This experience profoundly impacted my personal and professional growth, as I connected with people from diverse cultures, gaining valuable insights and building lifelong friendships. It has been an enriching experience from which I’ve learned a great deal for both my personal life and future career.
Tourism often involves showcasing a country’s traditions and history. How do you integrate Croatian heritage into your appearances and engagements?
I incorporate Croatian heritage into my appearances by wearing our national costume and displaying our country’s flag. Additionally, I give organizers gifts that represent Croatia, making my presence distinctive and rooted in our cultural identity.
What challenges have you faced in balancing the responsibilities of being a beauty queen with your modeling career, and how have you overcome them?
Balancing these responsibilities often involves challenges, such as unforeseen health issues or critical feedback. For example, despite facing health problems, I traveled to China to represent Croatia, which underscored my commitment to my goals. Facing criticism and setbacks requires resilience, and I have overcome obstacles by remaining persistent and unwavering in my ambitions. I never give up on my dreams, regardless of the difficulties encountered along the way.
Looking to the future, how do you plan to use your platform as Miss Tourism World Croatia to advocate for causes that are important to you?
I plan to use my platform to promote Croatian culture and tourism globally, aiming to increase the number of international tourists. I also aspire to build an international career, showcasing my talents and expanding my brand beyond Croatia. My efforts will focus on elevating both my professional presence and the recognition of Croatian tourism worldwide.
