From a shy girl to gracing magazine covers and collaborating with renowned brands – Kamile, what’s your secret?
I want to be completely honest. It’s only now that I can truly see the “leap” I’ve made in such a short time. I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities and the wonderful people I’ve met along the way, especially those in the industry who genuinely understand who I am. That’s why it’s so important to always be yourself. I’m delighted that people trust me, and I always try to understand, support, and never judge them.
Your life has changed significantly since you left your home country. In what ways?
People who knew me before hardly recognise me now. I began to trust myself and my abilities once I realised what I wanted and the goals I had for this world. I won’t lie, I do seek help when needed. I’ve been working with a psychotherapist for many years, alongside teachers and coaches. It’s been my most valuable investment, but I love continually learning and growing.
What are your spiritual rituals? How do you keep your energy up with such a busy schedule?
It’s crucial to take a break, no matter the intensity of your schedule – that’s a lesson for all of us. I make sure my body gets the vitamins it needs, especially iron. As a creative person, I sometimes stay up late, so I use essential oils to help energise me.
You didn’t trust yourself before, and now you inspire women.
Where did you find the courage to share your experiences?
I believe that if I was meant to go through these experiences, there’s a purpose behind it. I know how difficult it is to feel alone, misunderstood, lost, or panicked. Until now, I’ve been working extensively with children’s charities, and I’ll continue to do so. However, I also want to support women and am beginning to explore women-supporting-women communities. I can’t ignore this, because it’s something I deeply care about.
What’s a typical day like for you at the moment?
I have a three-year-old son, so I need to be flexible. I love spending as much time as I can with him. Of course, there’s still a lot of travelling for work, photoshoots, and full days of meetings. But now, any free time I have is spent developing my own product, which will be launched in December. It’s something very sentimental and important to me. My dream is for everyone to be able to touch it and feel its energy!
Kamile, London or Paris?
Isn’t that a tough one? Paris for fashion, London for passion!
