As Mrs. International 2024, how has your platform helped you inspire and empower women in business, particularly through Modern Day Wife?
My platform is Modern Day Wife, a lifestyle brand that produces luxury events and fosters a community focused on providing women with real-life, tangible tools, resources, and support to excel in their careers, home life, and relationships. I am the Founder of this company, which started in 2019 in Vancouver, Canada. We now operate across North America, with our Co-founder Meghan Fialkoff based in Los Angeles and other team members
in both Canada and the USA.

Modern Day Wife has helped me inspire and empower women in business through its community and connections. It allows brands, influencers, and women from all walks of life to connect and gain knowledge about new topics and products that can benefit them. This helps thousands of individuals expand their networks, fostering new friendships, business ideas, and mentorships.
The community also encourages women to step out of their comfort zones. For example, they might take risks like investing in a sponsorship package, speaking at our events on a panel, or simply wearing that favorite outfit (that’s been in their closets for too long) and finally getting out and attending an event to meet new people.
You never know when that risk you take will pay off— one business connection or conversation could lead to a whole new path, perhaps even one you’ve always dreamed of.
I truly believe that the power of connections and community helps individuals achieve their goals and reach new heights. A supportive network is essential, and that’s exactly what Modern Day Wife provides.

YESA has become a powerhouse in building and training sales teams. What key principles have you and your husband implemented to ensure its ongoing success and adaptability in a competitive market?
Aligning with your spouse can significantly expand your business and contribute to the success of your home life. My husband,
Corrie Elieff, and I have been intentional with working more together. YESA remains true to its values and mission, avoiding trendy or fleeting market directions— consistency is key. Corrie is also highly skilled in sales and mentorship. He has developed extensive training programs for our associates, ensuring they train daily and drill to succeed in the field. Success in sales comes down to practice, persistence, and resilience, especially when faced with rejections.
We encourage our sales associates to stay focused, stick to their goals, and keep showing up, as persistence through a flood of “no’s” will eventually lead to a “yes.”

Modern Day Wife blends entrepre-neurship with lifestyle and empowerment. What motivated you to create this community, and how has it evolved to meet the needs of modern women?
I started Modern Day Wife during a transitional period in my life. I was managing a career, a serious relationship, and trying to balance it all. The name Modern Day Wife came to me as I was striving for the next goal in my life, and I thought it was catchy.
I envisioned a community for women who wanted to learn how to balance their careers, home lives, and relationships.
After five years, one common theme I’ve learned is that trying to “do it all” is unrealistic. While help can enable you to achieve more, something often suffers—whether it’s your marriage, career, health, or time with friends and family. It’s important to recognize the “seasons of life,” understanding when to prioritize certain areas. For instance, some women may pause their careers to focus on family, or vice versa, depending on their current goals. Knowing your season allows you to align with your priorities, achieving success and happiness without regrets.

Balancing your role as an entrepreneur, wife, and global titleholder must be challenging. What strategies do you rely on to maintain focus and harmony across these different areas of your life?
I use four key strategies to ensure harmony in my life:
Scheduling: I check my schedule to ensure events, tasks, or obligations align with my husband’s schedule to keep our empire running smoothly.
Prioritizing: I assess whether a task is a priority and the repercussions of not doing it.
Alignment: I align my events and meetings to maximize productivity, saving time for other areas of my life.
Workout: I prioritize workouts as a non-negotiable part of my routine.

What advice would you give to women who aspire to build their own business empires while staying true to their personal values and commitments?
When starting a business, it’s essential to consider why you want to do it. Ask yourself:
What is the intention of my business, and does it align with my life goals?
Can I integrate this business into my current life and schedule, or will it require significant adjustments?
Does the business align with my personal values and integrity?
Will this business allow me to fulfill my existing commitments? If not, how can I pivot?
How will starting this business impact my spouse and family? Can I manage this?
These questions help guide you in making informed decisions about your business, ensuring it fits into your life while staying true to your values and commitments.
